We kick off the year by accelerating our international expansion with the signing of our first contract in Italy with Carrefour. As of February 15, we become their exclusive Retail Media partner in physical stores, strengthening our presence in the Italian market and reinforcing our position in the omnichannel Retail Media sector.
With this new milestone, we now operate in nine countries, five of them in Europe: Spain, France, Portugal, Poland, and Italy. We continue to cement our leadership in omnichannel Retail Media, forging strategic alliances with major retailers worldwide. Currently, 70% of our business is generated outside of Spain, reflecting our global impact and international growth trajectory.
Carrefour Italia: a key agreement for our growth
Our entry into the Italian market has been made possible through a strategic agreement with Carrefour Italia via Unlimitail, the joint venture between Carrefour Group and Publicis Groupe. This collaboration model, which we have successfully implemented in Spain, will enable us to deploy a powerful advertising network across more than 200 Carrefour Italia stores. Additionally, the agreement includes an initial investment exceeding €1 million in capex, ensuring a successful and sustainable rollout in the Italian market.
Future outlook and sustained growth
We anticipate that Italy will become one of our key markets within the next five years, significantly contributing to the company’s global growth. Our expansion strategy remains strong, with plans to enter two new markets over the next four years, focusing on consolidating our presence in Europe and Latin America while also exploring new opportunities in Asia and the Middle East.
